ISLAMABAD: The country would likely to face sever sui-gas shortage in the running month as its shortfall has reached to 700MMCDF. Currently the people of KP and Punjab provinces are facing sui-gas shortage. This was disclosed in the meeting of Senate Standing Committee on energy. The meeting was held on Monday under the chairmanship of Nasir Muhammad Khan.
During the meeting members have expressed concern over not supplying of sui-gas to those areas who producing this. Committee has also decided to conduct visits to Malakand areas in order to review the projects that were going on there. The meeting told that 49% work of Mardan and Swat one thousand sui-gas pipelines has been completed.
