LAHORE: Samjhota Express train service resumed on Thursday after a hiatus of one week.
 
The train carrying 192 passengers left for India from Lahore railway station and the passengers include 122 Indians and 72 Pakistanis.  The train was to leave Lahore railway station at 8am but delayed by half-an-hour due to security clearance. 
 
Railway authorities told Online that permission for resumption of the service was received from the Indian government two days ago.
