ISLAMABAD: Home delivery of passport and online registration of Pakistan Origin Card and Family Registration Certificate has been launched to ensure hassle free issuance of these documents to people.
Minister for Interior Ch. Nisar Ali Khan launched these projects at a ceremony in Islamabad on Tuesday afternoon. Passport home delivery system is initially being launched in Islamabad and Rawalpindi from tomorrow. 
The Minister said validity of the passport has already been extended from five to ten years and fee reduced. He said a complete online application system will be evolved for passports by March next year.
The Minister also gave instructions for online processing of visas by the Interior Ministry from January next year.
To a question, Ch. Nisar Ali Khan regretted that PTI is leveling baseless allegations against NADRA, which amounted to compromising its credibility. He pointed out that NADRA earned profit of five billion rupees during first year of the incumbent Government.
