ISLAMABAD:  Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Thursday said the government is exploring new reservoirs of gas and oil in order to overcome energy crisis.

Speaking to delegation of MOL Pakistan under the leadership of Executive Vice President Perlis Gesco, the premier said the incumbent government made investment friendly policy and providing facilities to all investment companies. The government is also enhancing investment in gas and oil sector with friendly policies for the investment companies, he added.

Prime Minister Sharif said petroleum policy made by current government is being declared best in the region as valuable packages are being offered for the investor companies in the sector. He urged MOL to further invest in the country in oil and gas sector.

Vice President of MOL Pakistan praised the policies of the government, admiring maintainability of Pakistani economy. He also informed the premier about their ongoing projects in the country.
