ISLAMABAD: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has building of worth 1 billion US $ in America, sources revealed.
According to information received by Online, the said building named Rose Wallet, was purchased by national airlines in 1969 and most of the Pakistani Presidents and Prime Ministers stay in the luxury apartment of this building during their visit to USA.
Sources added in this regard that main objective of privatization of PIA could be this costly building because if this building was auctioned as the loss of national airlines could be compensated, while building would be included in the privatization of PIA.
It is worth-mentioning here that costly Rose Wallet building has about 1015 rooms and 52 suits, while a separate suit has been prepared for the President having four bed rooms, Kitchen, terrace and open terrace adjacent to dining hall.
“All luxury apartments have been decorated with costly wood, unique carving and furnished with fashionable furniture”, sources concluded.
