ISLAMABAD: Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU) has imposed a ban on its professors to teach in private universities.

Following the decision, no teacher could teach in any private university as visiting teacher. The step has been taken to engage professors to give full time to their faculty at the university.

QAU Vice Chancellor Dr Javed Ashraf also confirmed that a notification slapping a ban on professors in teaching in private universities has been issued a few days back making it clear on the professors that they will not teach in any private university.

“They should devote all their energies to their respective university from where they get pay. If any one violates ban, action will be taken against him or her,” he said.
