KARACHI: Sindh government on Monday has fixed the wheat price around Rs 1300 per ton and set a target of purchasing of 71 lac ton wheat.
The decision has been taken at new Sindh secretariat in Sindh cabinet session presided over by Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah.
According to details in the four point agenda of session purchase of wheat, law and order situation, development projects including their expenditures and current situation of 155 flats constructed in Qaid Abad and agricultures packages of Prime Minister were discussed in four point agenda of session.
Mola Baksh Chandio adviser to CM Sindh condemned the policy of Pakistan Agriculture Storage and Services Corporation (PASSCO) for purchasing wheat in Sindh and decided that CM Sindh and Finance minister Sindh would complained to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif regarding PASSCO behavior towards them.
He said that Sindh Cabinet accepted the Subsidy in Kesan Package but rejected its some points and termed it Punjab Kesan Package.
Mola Baksh Chandio told that Rs116 billion have been spent on 598 projects and CM has directed administration to allocate development funds in any case and passed orders to give projects to NWO immediately in order to maintain transparency.
