ISLAMABAD: The Finance Ministry has turned down the plea of Pakistan International Airplane (PIA) to compensate losses.

The national flag carrier has incurred an estimated lost after angry employers protest against privatization. The PIA officials meet with the Finance Minster Ishaq Dar and requested him to compensate Rs 5 billion to make functional the national flag for next six month. The finance minister Ishaq Dar has refused to compensate the lost and told them to utilize its own facilities to run the national flag carrier. Dar directed the ministry to work collaboratively with aviation to overcome the crisis in the national flag carrier.
