KARACHI: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has decided to make changes in Sindh cabinet and bring in a new CM Sindh to replace Syed Qaim Ali Shah.

According to media reports, Senator Farhatullah Babar PPP’s spokesperson confirmed that decision was taken during a party meeting in Dubai. PPP spokesperson said that decision was taken when “some senior leaders of the party on Sunday called on former President Asif Ali Zardari and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in Dubai”. Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah was also present in the meeting.
According to reports on social media, Syed Murad Ali Shah will take charge as the new provincial chief minister. Meanwhile, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was scheduled to return to Karachi in the coming week to meet provincial party leaders and MPAs before finalising changes in the Sindh cabinet.

It is worth mentioning here that a high-level meeting was convened in Dubai and presided over by PPP Co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari to discuss the possible extension of Rangers’ power in the province.
