ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar says next federal budget would bring encouraging incentives for the betterment of the overall economy and for job generation.    
 
He was a meeting at the Federal Board of Revenue on Monday to discuss budget proposals for the next financial year.   
 
Chairman FBR briefed the meeting on different proposals prepared in consultation with the stakeholders and the relevant Ministries to improve the country.     
 
The Minister said with this budget people of Pakistan will acknowledge the development oriented approach of the PML-N government.    
  
He said we have tried to incorporate various suggestions to boost investment to strengthen the economy. He pointed out that the interest rates are historically low and we have more space available for encouraging the development works.   
 
The Finance Minister also directed FBR that the Committee on PM’s Low Cost Housing Scheme should also be consulted.  Positive input from their side should also be included in the proposals before the budget is finalized.
