ISLAMABAD: Pakistan says Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's statement about Balochistan is violation of UN charter.

Foreign Office Spokesman Nafeez Zakaria in his weekly news briefing here on Thursday said several Kashmiris have lost their lives during the last forty days due to brutalities of Indian forces in Occupied Kashmir.

He said invitation for dialogue on Kashmir has been extended to India for peace in the region.

“Pakistan has raised the Kashmir issue many times at international fora”. “Kashmir issue is on the agenda of the UN for the last six decades”, Zakaria added.

Talking about the stranded Pakistani workers in Saudi Arabia, he said efforts are underway to resolve the problems faced by the workers.

To a question, he said Pakistan supports political solution of Syrian issue.
