KARACHI: Mushtaq Bhutto, a cousin of late ex-Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto has been apprehended during a search operation by law enforcing agency at Gulshan-e-Johar area in Karachi.

The law enforcing agency personnel raided a residential building at Gulshan-e-Johar on Tuesday,  arrested a senior PPP leader Mushtaq Bhutto and  shifted him to undisclosed location for investigation.  

According to police sources, the suspect was apprehended for interrogation in connection with  several matters  including corruption.

Meanwhile, the family members of Mushtaq     Bhutto submitted an application at Shahrah-e-Faisal police station against this incident.

It is pertinent to mention here that Mushtaq Bhutto is among the senior leaders of PPP, a cousin and advisor of late Ex-Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto. He accompanied Benazir Bhutto when  Charter of Democracy came into existence in London.
