LAHORE: Secretary General, Jamat e Islami, Liaqat Baloch, has said that the US and India were behind the terrorist and sub-service activities in Karachi and Balochistan as they wanted to destabilize this country and sabotage the CPEC.

Addressing party workers in the city on Tuesday, he said that India had failed to cool down the Kashmiris movement for liberation despite her unparalleled oppression.  He counseled the rulers not to Make wrong decisions as could benefit the enemy.

He stressed that every effort should be made to unite the nation and develop a national consensus on national priorities by rising above personal or party interest s.  He further said that the NAB against terrorism should be implemented in its true spirit.

Liaqat Baloch said that the JI was in touch with all peace-loving and patriotic parties and it was striving to weed out corruption and poverty. He was hopeful that all sincere and patriotic people would join the JI in this noble task and for the establishing an Islamic system.  He paid tribute to PPP leader Jehangir Badar and said the deceased was as asset of the PPP and a sincere worker of Z. A. Bhutto.
