JEDDAH: At least seven Pakistan Origin British Nationals including a newborn have been killed in a road crash in Saudi Arabia.
 
Four members of one family from Manchester were killed in the accident while two victims including  husband and wife hailed  from Glasgow. Several other Britons were seriously injured.

The pilgrims were returning after performing Umrah.

The incident took place between Mecca and Madina. .    
 
A Foreign Office spokesman said: “We are supporting the families of six British people who have sadly died following a road accident in Saudi Arabia.

“We are also helping several more British nationals who were injured in the crash. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families at this very difficult time.”
