SRINAGAR: Hurriyet leaders have got an invitation from the Pakistani High Commission in New Delhi to meet Prime Minister Adviser on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, on August 23 during his visit to India.
 
According to the Kashmir Media Service, Pakistan’s Deputy High Commissioner in Delhi Mansoor Ahmed Khan communicated to Hurriyet leaders Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik by telephone that Aziz intended to interact with them on various issues. 
 
Hurriyet leaders will also participate in a reception being arranged by the high commission for Aziz, who will be in the Indian capital on August 23 for talks with his Indian counterpart Ajit Doval as part of efforts to resume stalled dialogue between the two countries.
 
Hurriyet leaders, while confirming the invitation from the Pakistan High Commission, said that discussions within respective forums shall be held before arriving at a final decision on the invitation.
