ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s elder son Hussain Nawaz on Tuesday appeared for a sixth time before the joint investigation team (JIT) probing the Panamagate case.

Hussain arrived with a convoy amid tight security around Federal Judicial Academy where he will be interrogated vis-a-vis Panama Papers leaks. The premier’s son waved to his supporters who had gathered outside the establishment before facing the JIT.

Earlier, after appearing for the fifth time, the elder son of the premier had hoped that it would be his last appearance and his statements would suffice for the ongoing investigation. After his appearance, Hussain Nawaz held media talk in which he said “From the nature of questions, I can assume I will not be asked to appear before the JIT [again]. But, if I am summoned again, I will appear to fulfil [my] legal obligations,”.Hussain Nawaz said that there was no need to summon him six times as the questions he had been asked could be posed in just two sittings.
