ISLAMABAD: A petition has been filed in Supreme Court (SC) seeking disqualification of Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah.

Petitioner Mehmood Akhtar Naqvi filed the petition on Saturday pleading  that  CM Sindh was  disqualified in dual nationality case in 2012 and SC  had ordered him to return  all privileges’ and salaries  but he has not complied with SC orders.

The petitioner further stated that Murad Ali Shah contested by-election on fake affidavit from constituency of PS-73 Jamshoro and he  was got succeeded through connivance in by polls. The  provincial election commission didn’t implement the court orders and issued notification of his success in by-elections.

The petitioner prayed to court that it should issue orders for removal of  CM Sindh  from his office and return of all privileges and  money by CM Sindh paid to him from national treasury  within the time period of 15 days.
