ISLAMABAD: Opening batsman of Pakistan Cricket team, Azhar Ali is the only Pakistani player who succeeded to make place among top ten players in ICC  test ranking.

According to ICC test ranking, Indian bowler Rvindra Jadeja stands at the top with 897 points, Ravichandran Ashwin of India 849, England’s James Anderson third with 828, Sri Lankan Rangana Hearth 828, Josh Hazlewood of Australia 826, Kagiso Rabada South Africa 773, Dale Steyn South Africa 771, Stuart Broad England 767, Vernon Philander South Africa 759 and Neil Wagner of New Zealand stands at number ten with 745 points. Pakistani bowler Yasir Shah stands at number 14 with 698 points.

In bating Australian batsman Steve Smith  stands at the top with 941, English batsman Joe Root at second with 885, Kane Williamson of New Zealand at third with 880, Cheteshwar Pujara of India at number four with 866, Virat Kohli of India at number five with 826 and Azhar Ali of Pakistan stands at number six with 769 points.

Australian batsman David Warner stands at number seven with 759 points,  Quinton de Kock of South Africa at number eight with756 points, Jonny Bristow of England at number 09 with 745 and Hashim Amla of South Africa at number ten with 741 points.
In all-rounder rankings, Bangla Deshi player, Shakib-ul-hasan is at number one position with431 points, Ravindra Jadeja of India at second with413, India’s Ravichandran Ashwin    at third with412, English player Moeen Ali at number four with 374, Ben Stokes of England at number five with362, Vernon Philander of South Africa at number six with    338, Mitchell Starc of Australia at number seven with 318 points. Sri Lankan player Dilruwan Perera at number eight with 223, Jason Holder of West Indies at number nine with 217 and Rangana Herath of Sri Lanka at number ten with 213 points. Muhammad Hafeez of Pakistan stands at number fifteen with Mohammad Hafeez 156 points.
