RAWALPINDI: Hundreds of emotionally charged activists of ruling Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) PML-N on Friday have allegedly attacked on secretariat of Awami Muslim League (AML)’s Chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed.
The spokesperson of Lal Haveli, political secretariat of AML’s Chief in his message said that approximately 300 activists headed by Chairman Union Council Arya Mohallah have attacked on Lal Haveli and pelted stone on it.
The activists while waving the arms enters in the premises of Lal Haveli forcefully.
AML’s Chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said that “I was present when activists attacked on Lal Haveli”, however “I and building was not damaged and remained safe with this attack”, he added.
The police have rushed to the spot immediately and dispersed the enraged activists.
