LAHORE: Pakistan Super League chief, Najam Sethi has been elected as Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) unopposed Wednesday.

The election process of Sethi was carried out in the meeting of PCB Board of Governors at National Cricket Academy.

Sethi was elected new Chairman PCB upon completion of Shehryar Khan’s duration.
The BoG comprises nine members whose vote would have ensured the election of the chairman. However Sethi was elected the new PCB chief unopposed. Sethi had been serving as PSL chief.

Speaking on the occasion, Najam Sethi thanked the members of the Board of Governors, saying he would live up to the confidence they had reposed in him. He said they had to work jointly for the betterment of the game.
