NEW YORK: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has arrived in New York to attend the 72nd annual session of United Nations.
Sources said that PM would stay in luxury hotel “Four season” which is the costliest hotel of city during his visit to New York. The rent of this hotel is 30,000 US dollar per night. The Arab’s sheikhs and rich persons stay in this hotel. Luxury suits besides presidential suits have also been acquired for Pakistan delegations which are over dozen in number.
When asked from hotel reception about rent of presidential suits it was told that VIP presidential suit wherein Pakistani Prime Minister is staying is not available. However rather smaller suits with 20000 dollars rent per day can become available after September 22.
“The luxury limousine cars and SUV in large numbers have also been acquired on rent for the PM’s visit to United Nations which would remain available round the clock with uniformed drivers in front of Roosevelt and four season hotels”, sources added. Among them one such Limousine is likely to remain available there which bears Number plate “QNIKALA”. Security authorities are keeping watchful eye on it.
The PM has reached from London to New York through his special jet plane where he will address the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) session scheduled to be held on September 21.
PM Abbasi would also meet the former Foreign Minister of US and international scholar Henry Kissinger , however the nature of meeting could not become known so far.
It is worth-mentioning here that Henry Kissinger who is known for threatening former premier Zulifqar Ali Bhutto of dire consequences takes thousands dollar as fee for a meeting.
Earlier, former PM Shaukat Aziz met with Henry Kissinger and paid some 10,000/- US dollar fee. Pakistan may have paid higher fee to Henry Kissinger for one meeting with PM Abbasi.
Presently Henry Kissinger (94) is living in New York, he remained US secretary of state from 1973 to 1977.
