Islamabad – May 2 : The Pakistan institute for Parliamentary Services (PIPS) has been FACING worst nepotism, sources claimed on Sunday.
According to details, out of 80 seats of PIPS, 59 are held by officers and employees of a specific community and province, while other three provinces are completely neglected. Most of the employees belong to KPK and former FATA, while Sindh, Baluchistan and Punjab are completely divested.
The deprived provinces have demanded head of BOG PIPS and Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani that provincial quota must be fulfilled in the process of appointments.
Sources said that several senators also pointed out the matter before Sadiq Sanjrani. On the other hand, Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser is allegedly pressurizing PIPS’ administration to appoint at least 20 people from his electoral constituency.
