77 succumbed to COVID-19, 1118 tested positive during the last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD, June 09 (Online): As many as 77 more casualties were reported and 1118 people tested positive due to coronavirus during last 24 hours in the country on Wednesday.

As per as per statistics from the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) with inclusion of 1118, tally of positive cases has surged to 936,131 across the cpimtry while the total number of active cases in Pakistan are 44,987.

43,900 tests were conducted in a day and positivity ratio remained 2.54 per cent. As many as 2,244 people recovered from the infection in a single day.

In total, Pakistan has lost 21,453 people to the coronavirus while 869,691 people have, in total, recovered from the infection.
