Govt has lost its legal standing: SCBA, Ahsan Bhoon President SCBA refutes statement

ISLAMABAD (ONLINE): Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) has said PML-N government has lost its legal standing as people decision is legal basis of any government.

This was said by SCBA in a statement issued here Monday.

Only transparent elections provide constitutional solution for Pakistan to move ahead, SCBA added. All the institutions with the support of people decision should steer the country out of difficult situation.

The JULY 17 Punjab by polls have shaken several delusions and thoughts.

It is pertinent to mention here that PTI has swept the Punjab by polls by grabbing 15 seats out of 20 provincial assembly seats while PML-N could clinch only 4 seats and one went to independent.

On the other hand SCBA President Ahsan Bhoon has refuted this statement saying SCBA has no relevance with this statement as this has not been issued by us.
