The second highest peak in the world was climbed by Pakistani mountaineer Samina Baig.


Samina Beg became the first Pakistani woman mountaineer to summit two peaks.

8611 meters high is the second highest peak in the world, which was climbed by Samina Baig today at 7:42 am.
Earlier, Samina Baig had climbed Mount Everest in 2013.

Among the members of Samina’s team, Eid Muhammad, Bulbul Karim, Ahmed Baig, Rizwan Dad, Waqar Ali and Akbar Sadpara have also managed to achieve two goals.

According to reports, Pakistani women mountaineer Naila Kayani is also in the process of climbing the summit.

Women from many countries including Iran, Qatar, Oman are also involved in this effort to join K2.
