Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal, head of the relief committee, wrote a letter to the provincial governments to help the flood victims under the national action plan.
On the instructions of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Ahsan Iqbal, head of the relief committee, sent letters to the four provincial chief ministers.
Ahsan Iqbal has also sent letters to the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and the Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan.
Through a letter, the federal minister sought an appointment with the chief ministers, the prime minister of Azad Kashmir and the chief minister of Gilgit-Baltistan.
In the letter, Ahsan Iqbal has said that an appointment should be given soon so that cooperation can be established on measures to help the flood victims.
He has said that the NDMA has given an initial estimate of the damage caused by the floods, the Prime Minister has said that a joint strategy should be made to help the affected areas and the people.
The head of the relief committee further says in the letter that in the light of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s directive, each province should appoint a focal person so that the relief process of the flood victims can be accelerated. A committee has also been formed under my chairmanship.
In his letter, the federal minister also said that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has directed that cooperation should be created between the federal and provincial special regions, helping and rehabilitating flood victims is a national goal for which everyone should get help. Have to work.
