Ishaq Dar declared absconder case, court adjourned for two weeks


Supreme Court (SC) has adjourned for two weeks hearing of appeal plea by former finance minister Ishaq Dar against being declared absconder.

A two members bench of SC presided over by Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan took up the case for hearing Thursday.

During the hearing of the case advocate on record told the court Suleman Butt counsel for Ishaq Dar returned to Pakistan yesterday night from abroad who could not appear In the court being unwell.

Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan inquired Suleman Butt name is not mentioned in the case.

Justice Mazahir Naqvi remarked as per record Misbah ud Din Qazi is counsel in the case.

Advocate on record told the court petition has been filed in connection with additional lawyer in the case.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case for two weeks.
