Supreme Court (SC) while issuing notice to federal government on petition filed against change of location of Bhong interchange has sought report.

A two members bench presided over by Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan took up the case for hearing Thursday.

The petition was filed by a citizen Raees Munir.

During the hearing of the case advocate Hamid Khan took the plea SC had ordered to construct interchange at Bhong. The planning of the interchange was completed. Interchange was to be built at Bhong motorway. With the change of government new minister directed to shift the interchange to Jamal Din Wali. This is violation of SC orders.

The counsel further argued “ my client has donated the land for Bhong Interchange free of cost. He provided land for police office free of cost.

The court issued notice to federal government.

The court while seeking report on change of interchange location adjourned the hearing of the case for indefinite period.
