Deaths/ Injured
During last 24 hours most deaths occurred in Sindh & Balochistan. However, 12 people lost lives and 2 people injured due to flash flood.
Up till now, total Deaths are 1355 & Injured are 12722.
Damages of Infrastructure & Private Properties
During last 24 hours most infrastructure damage in Sindh & Balochistan. A total of 6579 Km roads, 246 Bridges and 173 Shops are damaged.
Most Affected Districts
Worst affected districts of Sindh include Qambar Shahdad Kot, Jacobabad, Larkana, Khairpur, Dadu, Noshero Feroz, Thatta and Badin.
Balochistan include Quetta, Naseerabad, Jafarabad, Jhalmagsi, Bolan, Sohbatpur and Lesbela.
KP include Dir, Swat, Charsadda, Kohistan, Tank and DI Khan and in Punjab include DG Khan and Rajanpur.
Army Relief Efforts
Aviation Efforts
So far 415 Army Aviation helicopters sorties have been flown to various areas for evacuation of stranded people. In last 24 hours, 14 sorties have been flown and evacuated 163 stranded individuals and delivered 34 Tons of relief items to the flood affectees. Moreover, uptill now 3879 stranded Individuals have been evacuated through helicopter sorties.
Relief Camps/ Relief Items Collection Points
So far 147 Relief Camps and 284 Relief Collection points in Sindh, South Punjab & Balochistan have been established across the country for flood affectees.
Uptill now 5538 Tons of food items alongwith 991 Tons of sustenance items and 3322632 medicine items have been collected so far. However, 5148 Tons of food 948 Tons of sustenance items and 2916597 medicine items have been distributed uptill now.
Medical Relief
More than 250 medical camps established so far in which more than 102,721 patients have been treated all across the country and provided 3-5 days’ free medicine.
Pakistan Navy Relief and Rescue Efforts
Pakistan Navy established 04 x Flood Relief Centers, 06 x Central Collection Points, 02 x tent cities accommodating 807 x families (3589 Personnel) and 49 x Medical Camps in which 31,657 x patients have been treated across the country. Distributed 1155 Tons ration, 2680 x tents & 339577 liters mineral/fresh water in various districts.
Moreover, Pakistan Navy’s 23 x Emergency Response Teams (ERTs) equipped with 46 x motorized boats and 02 x Hovercrafts deployed in 10 x districts have rescued 12,808 x stranded personnel.
Pakistan Navy has also deployed 02 x helicopters in interior Sindh. Uptill now, in 45 x sorties, these helicopters rescued 440 x stranded people and distributed 3065 packets (60,400 Kg) of ration and 300 Kg of medicine. 08 x Diving Teams of Pak Navy have also carried out 25 x Diving operations in affected areas across the Pakistan.
Pakistan Air Force Relief and Rescue Efforts
Pakistan Air Force has also conducted 81 C-130, 86 MI-17, 43 AW-139 air sorties, rescued 1521 personnel, distributed 2577 tents, 165,357 food packets, 1,382,243 Kg Ration, 157,204 liters water, and established 19 tent cities accommodating 16,695 people, 50 relief camps and 41 medical camps in which 37,789 patients have been treated across the country so far.
At present PAF is fully committed in Sindh, Nawabshah, Sukkur, Mirpur Khas, Talhaar, Jacobabad, Sehwan, Perpatho. In Baclochistan Samungli, Killa Abdulllah and Killa Saifulllah. In Punjab Rajanpur and DG Khan. In GB, Gilgit Skardu, Ghizer, Naltar, Ganche. In KPK, Nowshera, Charsadda, Kheshgi, Saidu Sharif, Shangla, Laram remained under focus.
