Govt starts sealing capital’s ‘Red Zone’ amidst possibility of PTI protest

Local administration of the capital territory has started ‘sealing’ the ‘Red Zone’ amidst possibility of a long march or sit in by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Well-placed sources revealed Wednesday that government has chalked out a comprehensive plan to counter PTI’s possible protest by the end of September.
Large containers and fences are being placed at the entry points of Red Zone, a sensitive area of the federal capital. Security preparations are also underway, the sources added.
Islamabad’s ‘Nadra Chowk’ has been sealed as per the administration, while D-Chowk will also be closed for any kind of traffic, the officials said.
