NAB chief takes notice of closing of New York’s famous Pakistan’s Roosevelt Hotel

Islamabad October 13 (Online): National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice Javed Iqbal took notice of media reports of closing of New York’s famous Pakistan’s Roosevelt Hotel from Oct 31, 2020.

The NAB chief also directed Director General NAB Rawalpindi to conduct probe the matter in detail and the circumstances which led to the closure of over 100 year old Hotel, which is situated at the very important and central place at Manhattan the prime area of New York City (the United States).

The Director General NAB has been asked to further prove that why the national asset is being closed and also chalk out the tangible reasons of losses of hundreds of dollars to the government of Pakistan.

The NAB Rawalpindi would pinpoint the responsible, who did not play their due role in making the hotel profitable and allegedly failed to perform their duties in making hotel at prime place in accordance with law.
