Azam Swati arrested by Balochistan police, shifted to Kuchlak jail


Balochistan Police have arrested PTI leader senator Azam Swati and shifted him to Kuchlak jail over controversial statements.

Balochistan police have arrested Azam Swati on the basis of cases registered against him in different areas of the province. Cases are registered against him in Balochistan and Sindh.

Case was registered against Azam Swati in Quetta over the controversial speech delivered by him in Rawalpindi public meeting. Police took him into custody over the basis of this case.

As per sources Balochstan police took him to Balochistan overnight. He has been shifted to Kuchlak jail.
A day before the judicial magistrate Islamabad had ordered to send him to Adiala jail on 14 days judicial remand.

PT I leader Fawad Chaudhry tweeted over the shifting of Azam Swati to Quetta that a 75 years old senator and lawyer Azam Swati is being denigrated.

PTI leader Farrukh Habib said the judiciary should do justice over the flagrant violations of human rights.
