Islamabad High Court (IHC) has approved protective bail in respect of Suleman Shahbaz son of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif till December 13 besides restraining the FIA from arresting him.
The petition filed by Suleman Shahbaz came up for hearing before Chief Justice (CJ) IHC Amir Farooq here Thursday.
During the course of hearing of the petition, the court accepted protective bail plea of Suleman Shahbaz and ordered him to surrender till December 13.
The CJ IHC remarked during the hearing of the case appearance of the petitioner in person is must in connection with the protective bail.
Amjid Pervez counsel for Suleman Shahbaz read out the ticket of the petitioner saying Suleman Shahbaz will reach Islamabad airport by Saudi Airlines on Sunday.
Later the court while accepting protective bail plea of Suleman Shahbaz till December 13restrained FIA from arresting son of PM Shahbaz Sharif.
It is pertinent to mention here Suleman Shahbaz had filed application in IHC in connection with his protective bail.
The petition said that Suleman Shahbaz was subjected to political victimization. Suleman Shahbaz wants to prove his innocence by appearing in the court.
It was prayed in the petition that court should grant protective bail to Suleman Shahbaz.
