CM Sindh files acquittal plea in Noori Abad power project case

Islamabad: Chief Minister (CM) Sindh Murad Ali Shah has filed acquittal plea in Noori Abad power project case.

He appeared before Accountability Court (AC) in the case.He filed acquittal plea under NAB amendment ordinance.

He has said in his plea the case remained no more under the jurisdiction of NAB following promulgation of NAB amendment ordinance. He should be acquitted from the reference.

The court while issuing notice to NAB for reply on the petition of Murad Ali Shah adjourned the hearing of the case till January 12.
