ISLAMABAD, October 24 (Online): The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 6,727 on Saturday, as Pakistan has reported 12 deaths in last 24 hours by the novel Coronavirus.
According to the statistics issued by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) the number of positive cases has surged to 327,063, as 847 persons have been tested positive for COVID-19 in 24 hours.
Till now 143,222 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 102,467 in Punjab, 38,923 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 18,764 in Islamabad, 15,791 in Balochistan, 3,748 in Azad Kashmir and 4,148 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Furthermore 2,594 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Sindh, 2,334 in Punjab, 1,268 in KP, 148 in Balochistan, 207 in Islamabad, 90 in GB and 86 in Azad Kashmir.
Pakistan has so far conducted 4,235,329 coronavirus tests and 31,009 in last 24 hours. 310,101 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas 586 patients are in critical condition. There are now 10,235 active cases in the country.
735 hospitals in Pakistan, are facilitating corona patients and there are 1,920 ventilators for them in these hospitals.
