Nawaz, Zardari to participate in PDM meeting through video link today


ISLAMABAD, Dec 07 (Online): An important meeting of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) will take place today (Tuesday) here to take host of vital decisions ranging from no trust move against the Prime Minister, speaker National Assembly resignation from assemblies to long march.

The meeting will be held under Maulana Fazlur Rehman in PML-N secretariat.

Heads of all the component parties of PDM will attend the meeting.

According to sources former president Asif Ali Zardari and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will attend the meeting through video link.

PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari have not been tested negative in corona virus epidemic and he is too likely to participate in the meeting. PML-N vice president Maryam Nawa too will attend the meeting.

Sources said decisions will be taken in the meeting with reference to December 13, Lahore public meeting. PDM future strategy will also be given final shape.

The no trust move against the PM and Speaker NA, resignation from assemblies and other options will also come under consideration.

Final decision on holding long march to Islamabad after Lahore public meeting will also be taken.
