Cold, dry weather expected

ISLAMABAD, December 10 (online): Cold and dry weather is predicted in most parts of the country while very cold in northern areas during the next twelve hours.
However, rain with snowfall over the hills is expected in northeastern Balochistan.
Fog is likely to prevail in plain areas of Punjab and Upper Sindh during morning and night hours.
Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:
Islamabad 8 degree centigrade, Lahore 12, Karachi 19, Peshawar 9, Quetta and Gilgit 3, Murree 4, Muzaffarabad 7 degree centigrade.
According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu partly cloudy weather with chances of rain and snowfall is likely to prevail in Srinagar, Anantnag, Shopian, Pulwama, Leh, Baramulla and Jammu.
Temperature recorded this morning, Jammu 11 Pulwama and Baramulla 3, Anantnag, Shopian 4 and Leh minus 5 degree centigrade.
