Many restaurants, seven shops sealed on violating Corona SOP’s


KARACHI, December 17 (online): District Administration of the port city has carried out raids in different parts of the metropolis and sealed several businesses for violation of corona virus related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Seven shops were sealed in Clifton Block 2 while Assistant Commissioner Garden sealed six restaurants for violation of SOPs on the directives of Deputy Commissioner.
18 people have been fined of rupees 500 each in Lyari on violating Corona SOP’s.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 2,545 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
Furthermore 3,491 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 3,237 in Sindh, 1,502 in KP, 381 in Islamabad, 194 in Azad Kashmir, 176 in Balochistan, and 99 in GB.
6,176,889 corona virus tests have been conducted so far in Pakistan and 40,090 in the last 24 hours. 396,591 corona virus patients have recovered in the country whereas 2,505 patients are in critical condition.
