CJP takes so motu notice of incident of torching temple

ISLAMABAD, Dec 31 (Online): Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Gulzar Ahmad has taken suo motu notice of incident of torching a temple in Kirk and fixed the matter for hearing on January 05.

The CJP has directed chief secretary KP, IG KP and one member commission for minorities rights to visit the site and file the report of the incident on January 04.

As per details issued by Supreme Court (SC) spokesperson that CJP on receipt of the information about the incident met with Pattern in-chief Pakistan Hindu Council and MNA Ramesh Kumar in SC Karachi registry.
