Early completion of CPEC related projects in KP would usher in an era of prosperity: NA speaker

Islamabad December 31 (Online): Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser has said that CPEC related projects in Khyber-Pakhtunkhawa would usher in an era of prosperity and development.
The Speaker said that these projects would bring employment opportunities and would open new avenues for new businesses and industrial development.
He expressed these views while chairing the 2nd meeting of the Steering Committee on Chasma Right Bank Canal Project (CRBC) in the Parliament House on Thursday.
Asad Qaiser further said that the CPEC-related projects of DI Khan Motorway, Chakdara Motorway, and Greater Peshwar Region Mass Transit–Circular Rail project, CRBC and Rashakai Special Economic Zone should be completed timely, keeping in view the international standards.
He also said that timeline be strictly followed to complete these projects. He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is also especially focusing on CPEC projects in the country.
Pervaiz Khattak Federal Minister for Defense and Special Assistant to Prime Minister Arbab Shahzad said that official bottle necks would not be tolerated in these projects.
They stressed for submission of compliance in the next meeting on direction given in previous meeting.
The officers of concerned departments individually briefed the Committee about progress on Peshawar D.I Khan Motorway and Dir-Chakdara Motorway. They assured that the compliance on the Committee recommendations would be submitted in the next meeting.
