Karachi – January 26 (Online): South Africa managed to post a total of 220 in their first innings of the first test at national stadium Karachi.
The visitors won the toss and elected to bat first.
However the protease could manage to post a total of 220 runs amid exceptional bowling and fielding efforts by green caps.
Dean Elger being the highest run scorer grabbed 58 of 106 balls while George Linde played a knock of 35 runs.
Pakistan’s premier leggy Yasir Shah picked up three wickets for 54 runs.
Shaheen Shah Afridi and Nauman Ali picked up two wickets each while Hassan Ali managed to pick up one.
