Govt wants to end horse-trading in Senate elections: Sarwar

LAHORE, Feb 01 (Online): Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) government wants to end horse-trading in Senate elections, but the opposition parties are bent upon ‘Changa Manga’ political culture.
Talking to the media at the inauguration of a Water Filtration Plant at Jinnah Hospital in Lahore, he said it was an open truth that horse-trading takes place in Senate elections.
He said the opposition, in the larger interest of democracy, should support government legislation regarding open ballot in Senate elections.
