PDM stands firm with or without PPP: Ahsan Iqbal

Lahore – March 19 (Online): The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz’s Secretary General and former federal minister Ahsan Iqbal on Friday said that Nawaz Sharif was termed ‘traitor’ when he stated to ‘bring our own house in order’.
Addressing a press talk at Lahore, Ahsan Iqbal said that we would not have to face these circumstances if Nawaz’s suggestions and directions were followed properly. In order to bring our own house in order, we need to reform our national politics through free and fair elections. We hope that Pakistan People’s Party will stay part of PDM, otherwise PDM would still remain firm and powerful.
The PML-N leader said that our Establishment, Judiciary and leaders will have to seriously consider why Pakistan is not moving forward. PML-N will not talk to these govt representatives since they do not hold any authority. Govt is going to make such legislation that will mortgage State Bank at the hands of international financial institutions. After that State Bank will be accountable to those institutions instead of Pakistan’s government.
Ahsan Iqbal demanded Prime Minister Imran Khan to accept that govt failed to run the country. Prime Minister should resign and go home.
