Projects under Aab-e-Pak authority launched to provide healthy water in Punjab: Ch Sarwar

Lahore – March 22 (Online): Punjab’s Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar Monday said that work on projects worth more than Rs 4 billion under Punjab Aab-e-Pak Authority has initiated adding that full transparency will be ensured and corruption of not even a single rupee will be tolerated at any level.
Talking to media at Lahore, Chaudhary Sarwar said that Punjab Aab-e-Pak Authority has set up its first plant in Chak Jhumra and the MPA of that constituency is from PML N whereas MNA is from PTI, is testimony to the fact that there are no vested interests in the execution of PAPA projects and complete transparency is being ensured.
Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said that the Punjab Development Network of more than 165 welfare organizations are working under his supervision, and all the welfare organizations working for the provision of clean drinking water are being asked to spend at least 20% of funds on providing potable water in Sindh, Balochistan and KPK, adding that a meeting will be convened very soon in which future strategy will be decided.
