Fazlur Rehman’s politics hanging in the air: Sheikh Rasheed


Islamabad – March 24 (Online): Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Wednesday said that situation of JUI-F head Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman is pitiable as his politics are hanging in the air.
Talking to media persons, Sheikh Rashid said that Maryam Nawaz has managed to secure bail from Lahore High Court but she is still calling people on the streets. On March 26, nation will witness how much public support they enjoy, he added.
The minister said that opposition alliance Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is dead. PDM conducted rallies for six months and decided to not take but part in elections but later reversed its course and contested the polls, he added.
Sheikh Rashid further said that he had earlier predicted that opposition will not resign from assemblies. However, my prediction about PDM long march was proved wrong, he accepted.
The interior minister, who got inoculated against coronavirus on Monday, said that he took Chinese jab because there was a lot of misinformation about the shots manufactured by China.
