CJP takes suo motu notice on LHC decision in terrorism case

ISLAMABAD, March 26 (Online): Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Gulzar Ahmad while taking suo motu notice of Lahore High Court (LHC) decision in terrorism case has fixed the case for hearing.

In anti terrorism case pertaining to Burewala, LHC had removed terror clauses in criminal case in its 2019 decision. LHC by removing terror clauses breached section 6 and 7 of AT A law.

The CJP while taking suo motu notice has fixed the case for hearing.
