105 deaths reported within 24 hours due to corona virus


LAHORE, April 09 (Online): As many as 105 deaths occurred due to corona virus and 5312 persons tested positive in Pakistan in the last 24 on Friday.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), number of positive cases soared to 710 829 while overall fatalities graph has climbed to 15229
Punjab remains the worst-hit province by the pandemic in terms of deaths followed by Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. Most numbers of cases have been reported in Sindh.
The number of Coronavirus cases reported in Islamabad is 64,173, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa so far reported 96,128, Punjab recorded 243,295 cases, Sindh registered 267,970 cases, Balochistan recorded 20,097 cases, Azad Kashmir reported 14,069 cases and 5,097 people have been affected by Coronavirus in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Furthermore, 6,851 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab, 4,521 in Sindh, 2,553 in KP, 213 in Balochistan, 597 in Islamabad, 391 in Azad Kashmir and 103 in GB.

Pakistan has so far conducted 10,639,825 coronavirus tests and 54,948 in the last 24 hours. 625,789 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas 4,116 patients are in critical condition.

The National Command and Operations Center has declared 26 districts of Pakistan as high risk areas. Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, Mandi Bahauddin, Multan, Okara, Rahim Yar Khan, Rawalpindi, Gujarat, Sheikhupura, Sargodha, Sialkot, Toba Tek Singh, Muzaffarabad, Mirpur, Kotli, Peshawar, Swat, Nowshera, Dir Lower, Malakand, Swabi, Charsadda and Haripur are among the high risk districts.
