Lara Dutta admits she has been a bit of an overachiever, a perfectionist


MUMBAI, April 16 (Online): Lara Dutta, who is celebrating her 43rd birthday today, said that although the pandemic has limited her plans, it doesn’t stop her from getting excited about her special day.

Spilling the beans on her birthday plans, Lara reportedly said that she is not a big party kind of person so the pandemic situation doesn’t really affect her mood. The actress added that she would be spending her special day with her husband and her daughter.

Elaborating further, the actress added that as life is very fragile and short, it is important to celebrate now. Lara also added that her friends, who know me well, know that for the actress, her birthday is not a day, week, but a birthday month. She also revealed that her daughter gets more excited about her birthday than she herself.

Lara also went on to add that as she is getting older, she realised that she needs to start being a bit more easy and kind on herself than anybody else, and embracing all the rough edges. According to her, as you get older, the rough edges start becoming clearer.

Meanwhile, on the work front, she will next be seen in Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Bell Bottom’. The movie also stars Vaani Kapoor, Huma Qureshi and others in key roles.
