NAB decides to auction all properties of Nawaz Sharif


LAHORE, April 19 (Online): NAB has decided to put to auction all the properties of former Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif.

According to media reports NAB Rawalpindi has prepared application for putting the properties to auction which will be filed by NAB prosecutor in Accountability Court (AC).

The properties which will be auctioned include Ittefaq Foundary, Hudaibia Paper Mills, Bakhsh Textile mills and Hudaibia Engineering Cashiers. Property located in Lahore upper mall, agriculture land 110 acre, fish farm, bungalow in Murree, home at Shangla Hill and two precious properties in Sheikhupura will also be put to auction.

A sum of Rs 612000 which is lying in 3 foreign accounts and 5 Pakistani accounts will also be transferred to national kitty.

It is pertinent to mention here that court had declared Nawaz Sharif absconder in August 2020 in Tosha Khana reference.
