KARACHI, April 26 (Online): Sindh government is all set to put names of Mufti Muneebur Rehman former Ruet-e-Hilal Committee head and other ulema in the ATA’s Fourth Schedule.
Sindh government has taken this step for supporting the protests of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) by these ulemas.
Home department Sindh has sought details from police stations of district East Karachi for including the name of Ulema in ATAs Fourth schedule.
Sources said that in addition to Mufti Muneeb ur Rehman the other Ulema who will be included in fourth schedule are Ghulam Ghouse Baghdadi, Mufti Muneebur Rehman, Moulana Rehan Amjad Nomani, Ali Muhammad Aslam, Haji Rafiq Perdaisi and Muhammad Amir Chotani
The government plans to include the names of clerics who supported the Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan protest, including former Ruet-e-Hilal Committee head Mufti Muneebur Rehman, on the ATA’s Fourth Schedule.
The police have completed the documents and are sending them to CTD.
Recommendations are being worked out to put these name in Forth Schedule.
